报告人简介:
Current Research Interests of Professor Margaret Mcfall-Ngai:
Symbiotic associations between animals and bacteria: signaling between partners during symbiosis establishment and maintenance; the influence of bacteria on animal development; the evolution of animal-bacterial interactions
- The ‘design’ and developmental induction of tissues that interact with light
Current Research Interests of Professor Edward (Ned) Ruby:
-- Bacterial responses and signaling mechanisms in cooperative associations with animal hosts
-- Physiology and genetics of bacterial quorum signaling and chemotaxis
-- Population genetics and ecology of Vibrio-host associations
-- Single-cell bacterial transcriptomics
Ms Yanling Wang is a Post-doc in Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics.University of California-Los Angeles. She works on the mechanisms of bacteria and host symbioses.
