On Jan 18th, 2023, New Year celebration for students stay-at-school were successfully held at Shuhua Multi-function Hall by School of Life Sciences and Biotechnology. Gu Jianping, Secretary of CPC Committee, SLSB, and representative teachers and students were present.

Firstly, Gu sent the kindest regards and sincerest wishes to those school-staying students,  may all students have a wonderful Chinese New Year and a fresh heart and mind, making greater achievement in deeper research.

Then, School held a Birthday Celebration for students who were born in year of the rabbit or in January or February. Birthday cakes and wishes were delivered to everybody in the birthday song.

Lastly, Gu handed the New Year Gift out to the students. The rabbit dolls and  snacks together with the profound blessing will be with all present.

In addition, there was a series of activities prepared for the students, including Practising Chinese Calligraphy Fu（福）, Paper-cutting for Window Decoration, Touhu game, and Lantern Riddles Guessing. The hall was full with happiness and good wishes.
